Chef Yvan Didelot

Yvan Didelot Chef

Chef Yvan Didelot, graduate of Lyon Culinary School in France, is recognized as a Master Chef of France. He has served as an executive chef in more than six countries, with specialty dishes ranging from the use of fresh fish, seafood and braised and grilled meats.

Having studied under two world- renowned chefs, Paul Bocuse and Paul Blanc, Chef Yvan has not only mastered the art of Provençal cuisine, but has recently began studying New Orleans cuisine, which encompasses French, Spanish and island influences. 

 

Hayley Hornstein

Hayley Hornstein 1718 Event Sales Manager

Hayley was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After graduating from Saint Joseph’s Academy, she moved to Thibodaux, Louisiana to attend Nicholls State University. Hayley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts. She moved to New Orleans for a culinary internship and is still proud to call New Orleans her “chosen home” now, seven years later. Hayley has over twelve years of experience in the food and beverage industry, and for the past several years, she has found her passion in the events sector.

Hayley has been privileged to work for two locally owned catering companies and is excited to begin a new chapter of professional development with Hyatt Regency New Orleans. When asked, “Why Catering?”, Hayley will tell you, “I cherish the gift of being a part of some of the most important days in our guests lives”. When Hayley is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chip, enjoying our local festivals, food scene, and culture.  

 

Georgia Smith

Georgia Smith 1718 Events Administrative Assistant

Planning and coordinating events is Georgia’s passion. She loves working closely with clients to help execute their vision and to see long-term planning come to fruition.  Having never worked in the hospitality industry, Georgia understands that there are many aspects to planning an event, and when a goal is achieved it is extremely rewarding. 

She believes that 1718 Events is an incredible team composed of people with diverse talents, skills, and abilities and working with this team is an excellent opportunity to see projects come together through various perspectives. Georgia is originally from Memphis, TN, but she has lived in New Orleans for the past 4 years.  She absolutely adores this city and consider it her home.
